I'm Terri, I'm 28 and I'm from God's own county, AKA Yorkshire. I'm a Media & Popular Culture graduate and a fully qualified FE teacher of various different strands of Media. I'm a down-to-earth, what you see is what you get kinda girl with a huge passion for music, shopping, film, TV and writing. I'm happiest when sat in my pyjamas scoffing a pizza and catching up on Coronation Street. For the most part, I'm 27 going on 65, but don't let that fool you, I'm also an avid gig-goer, I love socialising, spending time with pals and a good old pub quiz. In my spare time I love experimenting with digital illustration and art and have recently started to upload my work to an Insta profile which you’ll find on the Art page. This blog will probably tell you everything you need to know about me. But if not, feel free to ask.
MoreTh4nWords is my online hub made up of this blog, an Instagram account, Facebook page and Etsy store where I can unleash my creative endeavours. I love creativity, I love seeing other people express theirs and I love freely expressing mine. I demonstrate my creativity and expression in a number of ways and these platforms allow me to exhibit two of them, my written creativity and expression and my artistic creativity and expression. From a very young age I have loved writing, from letters, poetry, songs, stories, reports, essays. For some that's incredibly boring, for me, it's expression and I love exploring vocabulary and dialect, I just adore putting words to a page. I have also always had a penchant for arts and crafts and over a difficult period of time, this is something I've explored and developed. I now class myself as a digital illustrator and have linked my love of the two, by forming MoreTh4nWords. It began as a blog which has been online for over 7 years and now it's expanding into an online realm full of my creations. I am inspired by life, day to day observation, popular culture and nostalgia and these are consistent themes in my writing and illustration. I am open to creating personalised content, through blog posts & features or commissioned illustrations. I also take my creations to craft and art markets throughout Yorkshire. You can find MoreTh4nWords on this very website but can also check out my work, products and testimonials through the following channels:
